About
Shanice enjoys directing projects with complex plots, innovative in addition to creating surreal environments through art direction and set design. She loves to create experimental films and music videos with minimalistic designs and sparse dialogue.
She has a uniquely stylized aesthetic that is heavily influenced by her diverse regional background and love of various cultures. She has been working in film and media for several years and has obtained a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Cinematic Arts and Creative Writing at the Columbus College of Art and Design.
Upon receiving several awards at the Jamaican Cultural Development Commission, including a Medal of Honor from the Prime Minister, she further obtained acceptances into various film festivals internationally including LA Cine Fest and Roma Cinema Doc. She is a woman of many talents as her poetry has been included in the 2016 edition of the Botticelli Magazine.
Despite her heightened interest in film and experimental videos Shanice has done an extensive amount of commercial videography for companies such as Mettler Toledo International, Columbus College of Art and Design, and has collaborated with numerous fashion designers and shows.
She continues to create visually dynamic work and hopes that one day she’ll make a global impact on society, in order to promote a greater appreciation for culture and the arts in film & media.
