"In 1988, after studying at the Art Institute of Atlanta, John Haigwood decided to turn his passion for photography and videography into a career and founded Haigwood Studios. In 2000, he moved his studio to historic Roswell at 565 South Atlanta Street, where he has been fortunate to develop a portfolio working with companies such as Home Depot, Chick-fil-A, Coca-Cola, Medtronic, Avanos, Ecolab, Lowe’s, WSB-TV, and hundreds of others. Throughout his career, he has focused on mastery of subject, composition, and the subtleties of light and color. Since childhood, he has been a visual thinker, noticing details others miss, and his father impressed upon him the importance of dedication to excellence. John was the first photographer in Georgia to go digital and has remained at the forefront of technology throughout his career. Some of his proudest moments were being chosen by the White House to photograph their delegation for the Trans-Pacific Partnership. He has covered events such as the Super Bowl, the 1996 Olympics, and the Masters Tournament.
