I’m Qi Cai, and I prefer Echo Cai. I am a freelance photographer based in Sacramento. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Physics Bachelor degree and a Film and Media Studies minor in the summer of 2018. With the enhanced passion towards cinematography, narrative and documentary filmmaking, I decided to pursue the path of becoming a cinematographer and director as my driven force in life. I am experimenting to any subject of photography and filmmaking, specifically focusing on cinematography, and always seeking opportunities to work with creative partners and be a part of the camera crew in challenging film projects that obtain intrinsic values.
