Los Angeles Production Assistant
About
My name is Jack Deignan. I am a recent graduate of UCLA with a Bachelors in English with a creative writing speciality and a minor in Film and Tv. I am very interested in working in production in any capacity whatsoever, and would live to PA for any productions available. My long term career goals are to write and direct and any position where I get to hone my creative skills and be around other creatives ideating, developing, and building concepts is a number one goal of mine.
As I continue my career search, I make sure to practice my skills everyday and build my portfolio. I am a published author of the science fiction novel An American Family (2021) and am currently getting ready to shoot my first short film that I wrote and will be directing. Meanwhile, I make sure to practice as many skills in creative writing as possible, and am working on my first poetry collection and first feature length film. I will paste my resume and portfolio below so you can see the entirety of what I have accomplished to date.
