My name is Jonathan Kinum and I am a 29 year old freelance photographer/filmmaker. I just moved to San Diego from New York and I moved here so I could put myself in a better situation to be successful doing what I love. I am looking to work alongside an already established professional and to learn everything I can so that I can help your business grow. I have experience shooting and editing promotional videos for small businesses. I have experience shooting professionally for JCPenney Portrait Studios. I have helped produce, shoot, and edit corporate video conferences with IEEE TV. I shoot with Canon gear and I edit using the Adobe creative suite. What I am really going after is to capture the beauty and emotion in people or in moments in time. This visceral emotion is always what I am striving for.

I want to have people look at my work and get goosebumps and to really feel the emotion and the story that my work is telling.
Although I don’t have as much experience that I would like to have, I definitely have the right gear for it and just need a place to start. One thing that I have that can’t be taught is my passion and love for photography and filmmaking. Being able to freeze a moment in time and make that moment last forever is so powerful. I want to be able to leave people with these moments that mean so much to them now, and will mean so much more for them in the future.
