Evan Michael Gering is a Cinematographer known for his striking visuals and impactful storytelling. Evan is drawn to projects that aim to tell stories that are not often shared. He revels in employing classical techniques inspired by cinema, photography and other artwork. He takes a naturalistic lighting approach while leaning in to the subject of the piece at hand.

He first discovered his passion for filmmaking as a teen volunteer at the closed circuit television station at Motion Picture Television Fund. In the years since, Evan has become an expert in shaping light to best tell the story.

Evan thoughtfully crafts his visuals with beautiful lighting and meaningful movement to enrich the narrative. He loves to be behind the camera to capture and evoke emotion, provoke thought and entertain.

He Co-Founded Two8 Productions with Ryan Walters in 2020 with the goal of creating content around creativity. Two8 is focussed on producing commercial and documentary work that generates engagement while telling a story.
