Project Details

Experienced technical director (TD) using Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO. This is a video switcher with the following benefits:

1. Multiple auxiliary outputs (for projector screens, confidence monitors, etc.)
2. Record live program in addition to all inputs simultaneously in 1080 HD resolution.
3. Graphical split-screen options.
4. Graphic overlays with upstream and downstream keys.
5. Built-in livestream encoding.

This setup, which can be paired with multiple Sony or Blackmagic Design cameras, is great for the following types of projects:

1. Any type of live event coverage (corporate, sports, performing arts, etc.)
2. Recording of live streaming of formal presentations of any type.
3. Long interviews with multi-camera setups.
4. Livestreaming of any kind.

Rate of $1,200 day is inclusive of both switcher and camera setups. Setup with single operator typically takes 2-3 hours or shorter with experienced crew.
