I am a 14-year Sacramento-based freelance camera operator/DP with gear. Background in broadcast news environment, currently working in documentary, narrative, and music videos. With frequent work in the SF Bay Area, I’ve also traveled to Los Angeles, San Diego, Reno, Las Vegas, Seattle, Denver, and Albuquerque.

Referred to by friends as “Mr. Wolf” and “Bulldog”, I tend to become laser-focused once the goal has been set. I also tend to set most plans in proper pre-production while looking for more opportunities during production as time allows. As a former producer, I’ve led teams of up to 6 people. Currently I am leading teams of 3 as a director of photography.

I am also a 10yr veteran who left the military to pursue the film/TV industry. I still volunteer with the military for the last 2 years as a public affairs NCO. Married five children, I spread my time between Northern California and Southern California. When not working or volunteering, I indulge in movies, TV shows, video games, and kickboxing gyms.
