This project was a documentary-style testimonial video that told the real story of a patient in Barcelona who significantly improved her quality of life after receiving treatment for a highly complex allergy condition. The piece aimed to convey credibility, warmth, and hope, highlighting the science and innovation behind Thermo Fisher while keeping the focus on a deeply human and emotional journey. Filming took place across three key locations: Thermo Fisher’s offices in Barcelona, showcasing a professional corporate environment and the human team behind the science; a local clinic, providing medical credibility and including an interview with a specialist; and the patient’s home, capturing an intimate, emotional perspective of her daily life. The production was executed by a specialized five-person crew: a producer managing coordination and relationships, two camera operators/DPs covering interviews and b-roll, a sound recordist ensuring professional audio, and a gaffer creating adaptable lighting across all settings.
