The Community Assistance Network, Inc. (CAN)’s Mission is to work in partnership with the community to develop, operate, and support programs that reduce vulnerability and empower personal growth, dignity, stability and self-sufficiency among people in Baltimore County experiencing economic challenges. 

After CAN successfully surveyed over 1,000 residents to find out how poverty was impacting the community on both the individual and the family level, they developed a new comprehensive strategic plan to address the issues. This plan, however, was textual, quite lengthy, and not easily digestible. So, we worked with CAN to create this video as a visual representation of that strategic plan, which CAN now uses to initiate conversations with potential funders, stakeholders, and government officials. It has proven to be a powerful and effective tool for them to capture attention of those who support CAN, enabling them to not only continue, but also to expand, their programs and operations.
