This is my reel from last year. I do need to do an update with more videos that I shot last year, but I still like this one. I added a few scenes from some narratives I shot at the end. Song is The Greatest Light Is The Greatest Shade by The Joy Formidable.

I wanted to post this one because I love how the lighting looked and the rich and dark set. We shot this with a static A cam and then a B cam floating around on a MoVi. We used a Briese 180 and then 2x SkyPanels on either side for passive fill. We also shot a few M40's into the background to lighten it up as it was a very dark color that ate up the light.

Anyone who has shot with Shaq knows that he is a nice and fun guy. He's also somewhat intimidating, obviously because of his size, but he is also a little picky about how he is lit. We had a good time on this one, and at one point he gave me a bear hug and tossed me around like I was a toy, whilst wearing my entire camera rig. Director was Chad Ostrom on this one.

Director of Photography on this one for Document Journal in collaboration with Moncler. Shot on Phantom and using mostly SkyPanels for lighting and strobe effects and Cali Sunbounce for shots without light. Model was positioned on an 8' riser since the Director, Alex Black, didn't want to see anything behind the model.
