This video is an excerpt from a two day training shoot at Valvoline world headquarters. I used three cameras during this shoot. We did hire an onset make up artist and a sound guy since some sets had more than two people.
I shot this promo for Kinetic featuring a think tank workspace here in Lexington. The company is owned and run by women, and they had Kinetic do all the fiber and networking in their office. I shot this film solo, doing all interviews, gimbal and camera work.
This short film is for fund raising for a new field for the champion Belfrey Pirates. Located in the heart of the coal industry, Belfrey is the Friday Night Lights of division 3 high school football. I loved working on this video. They won the championship that season, and got their new turf.
During my time shooting with Kentucky Farm Bureau, we did a series on Farm to Table restaurants in Lexington, KY. This brunch restaurant is located in the heart of the city. They source all locally grown products for their menu items. Shot all on Sony gear.
I was honored to work with MAGE, the kentucky derby champion horse. I met Gustavo in the fall of 2023, and we began doing some b-roll shootingof MAGE while he was training here in Lexington. A few races into Spring of 2024, the owners made the decision to retire MAGE, and put him out to stud. Gustavo invited me to the premier of his display at the Kentucky Derby Museum.
