I am Justin McAleece, a socially conscious director and cinematographer who has been dedicated to filmmaking since 1999. I have won dozens of awards and directed hundreds of hours of content, as well as lensed even more. I am comfortable conducting hundreds of interviews in a variety of spaces and am equally at ease directing a team of 50 in a corporate setting or shooting solo on the Serengeti. My projects range from personal to commercial, and I specialize in both narrative and documentary work.

I have been fortunate to have worked with Justin McAleece and his Blare Media counterpart Blake Barnett since they first formed their partnership, first as a client and later as one of their vendors. So because I have enjoyed their talents from multiple vantage points I feel qualified to give an honest, objective and sincere evaluation of their work. In short, Blare Media’s savvy works for both their clients and those who are fortunate enough to be employed by Justin and Blake. Clients always get their money’s worth in terms of creative thinking coupled with the highest quality video productions, while dealing with a stellar team of straight-shooting producers. Vendors know Blare Media will always have their backs by fostering an open, honest and dynamic workspace that allows for individuals to do their best work and perform at the highest level. Their years of experience CS be seen in the growing roster of clients and a review of their showreels. Blare Media delivers, for clients and vendors alike!

Justin handles everything video related"He takes care of our needs better than we could have imagined.
At this point, I've worked with Mariano a ton of times. I think we started seeing him on set probably 5 years ago. He gets the best BTS of me looking stupid or focused or fake important. He's a low key guy and rolls well with the punches. If you want a fun and reliable photog on set then he's definitely someone worth talking to.
I've worked with Ryan in a number of capacities. Other production companies have hired him as a photographer on projects that I was a Director of Photography on and in other situations, I've hired him as a grip or gaffer. He's a smart and talented guy and I always look forward to being on set with him.
I’ve worked with Jean-Luc on probably 50 major projects over the years. I value our organic and relaxed working relationship. We’ve done a variety of types of work with him through his company Scope Studios, but much of it deals with people in real-life situations living through trials, tribulations, and successes. My work with him usually intends to be fairly naturalistic. Jean-Luc is thoughtful, competent, holistic, talented, and most of all a pleasure to work with.
I've worked with Daniel a bunch. We met many years ago and he's been a reliable and good spirited person to have on set ever since. He's a good grip and always has a great attitude. We've gone to several states together and worked on probably 50 projects trying to make great images.
I've known Leonard since all the way back in 2009 or so. We only got together to work on a feature because our key grip hurt himself in a softball game and couldn't work for a few weeks. Let's just say that I'm happy he did. Leonard is a fantastic dude that I've worked with on hundreds of productions. He's smart and focused and reliable. I look forward to working with him for many years. He is often a gaffer or a grip on our projects or when I'm used as a DP for other companies.
