I recently completed a 29-month solo motorcycle expedition covering 83,000
miles across 53 countries and all seven continents. I have captured 20TB of
4K and 360° footage and am seeking a lead editor to help transform this
material into a professional YouTube series targeting adventure
motorcyclists and overlanders (ages 25–55).

The Vision:
The goal is to lead with a high-energy “hook” in the first 30 seconds,
transitioning into immersive, character-driven storytelling.

Deliverables & Scope: I open to taking the lead from more
knowledgeable creative types but simple thinking is maybe one episode for
one month of travel.

– Main Series: 29 episodes (approx. 15–25 mins each), structured by the
narrative of each month.
– Social Assets: Two vertical Reels/Shorts per episode.
– Thumbnails: Three high-quality raw frame exports per episode for design
use.
– Technical Editing: Heavy focus on wind noise reduction, engine sound
leveling, and selection of licensed music (e.g., Epidemic Sound).
-Sadly I had no idea what I was doing when shooting the videos. It got
better as the journey went on. Some of it is in time lapse with no sound.
As one can imagine, I had lots of issues with the cameras through various
environments (altitude, temperatures, humidity)
– Motion Graphics: Dynamic “Route Maps” to visualize progress across
international borders.

Technical Details:

– Source: GoPro (10, 11, Max), Insta360 (RS, X3, X4, X5), DJI Mini 3/4, and
iPhone 14 Pro Max.
– Workflow: Footage is hosted on a Minisforum NAS and original external
drives.

I am looking for an editor who can handle complex multi-cam syncing and
understands the pacing of modern adventure travel content. Please share
your portfolio, specifically any work featuring drones, 360° reframing, or
map animations.
