A loc + A Twist examines the lived experiences of a young hair braider and a young filmmaker, Clara and Tyler. Clara is using her skills in hair braiding as a vehicle to engage in conversation about social issues. Tyler opens the floor into a discussion that examines the effect of society’s negative view of Black hair.
