This is a montage from a six part series I shot for Revelations Entertainment that aired on National Geographic. The series was shot in various global locations including the UK, Northern Ireland, Ethiopia, Bolivia, Guatemala and Panama. The series was a mix of interviews and documenting real time events.
Dirt & Determination is a documentary-style piece centered on nature, friends, passion, and the determination behind BMX riding. Here, I shaped the story from over 5+ hours of raw footage, using interviews, natural moments, music, and sound design to build the emotional narrative. This piece represents my approach to documentary editing and how I find the human element within hours of footage and letting that drive the final cut.
