Rise Above: WASP

Rise Above: WASP is a 30 minute documentary with narrative scenes created for the Commemorative Air Force’s Rise Above educational program. The film screens at their Education Center in Dallas and in their traveling exhibit, which consists of a mobile theater that is a giant curved IMAX-type screen. I directed this film about the strong, brave women of the Women Airforce Service Pilots from WWII, telling their powerful story of overcoming society’s prejudices and following their dreams, so that it can inspire kids to overcome their own obstacles to become whatever it is they wish to be.
