The Clouds Were Amazing
Charles Baldwin Binghamton, NY / Music
I decided I wanted to do something like Stanley Kubrick about the time my mom died in 2017.
2001: A Space Odyssey was on my mind at the time and Strauss’s music came into the public domain shortly after I get it in my head to finally do a feature film.
This was shot entirely with a Motorola G cellphone.
It has a quirky focus issue during this video.
The clouds really are fun to watch as this plays out.
This is 90 minutes of roll compressed in DaVinci Resolve to ten minutes and married to The Blue Danube.
Don’t do this with your good equipment. The video burn from shooting directly into the sun isn’t good for the sensor.
