For this project I operated both as the DP and because I have a relationship with the client, the Director.I used colored filters specially made for black and white photography to change the contrast and characteristics of the monochromatic image once it becomes de-saturated in post. The artist wrote a song dedicated to his father who passed away, and the video celebrates his father’s life, influence on his community, and Polynesian culture.
