In the late 1960s, Terry Ware began a musical journey performing at high school dances and teen hops in his hometown of Woodward, Oklahoma, and other towns throughout western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle. He rose to national acclaim with appearances on “The David Letterman Show,” the 2013 Grammys, and countless other stages nationwide.
But Ware’s story is not his alone. This film brings together legendary voices like Ray Wylie Hubbard, Butch Hancock, and many other renowned musicians who share their stories working with Terry, their music, and their connections to Terry Ware.
Today, from his home in Norman, Oklahoma, Terry continues to nurture the next generation of musicians.
