Its owner, Keith Korsgaden is also a talented guitar player and performs frequently with his band, “The Crawdads” in his warm and intimate lounge. This is one of a series of four spots created in 2009 to showcase Central California's new Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno. By far the biggest challenge in creating the series was getting the hospital's patients to waive their Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act protections and allow our photographer access. Choosing the right pet is a lot like choosing the right life partner. Use of metaphor is obvious in this spot. It was a pleasure working with the caring women who work tirelessly to find homes for the dogs and cats at this Fresno area "No Kill Shelter."
