2023 16TH ANNUAL D SHOW AWARDS SOCIAL IMPACT NOMINEE

In May of 2022, Erik Rubner from SoDiG traveled to the border of Ukraine and Poland to Produce a short film about the Lion’s International relief efforts.

During the ongoing war in Ukraine, LCIF grants are ensuring that Lions are there to help provide immediate relief to those seeking safety and security in a time of immense need. Lions in Poland, Ukraine, and around the world have united in kindness and service to the people who desperately need it, and mobilized quickly to meet the urgent needs of those displaced.  The project in Poland and many others in the countries surrounding Ukraine were made possible by the LCIF Refugees and Displaced Persons Fund, which has received donations from people and organizations around the world that support the service of Lions in these difficult times.
