My name is Jacob Skolnick, and I’m a Bay Area-based video editor.

I have a BFA in Motion Pictures and Television, with an emphasis on video editing, from Academy of Art University. I am proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and Avid Media Composer.

I have completed projects for clients such as the co-founders of Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, NYC-based creative agency SocietyRow, Black Ivy Media, and most recently BT Studio in San Francisco.

I specialize in narrative editing for short films and documentary filmmaking, as well as corporate editing for testimonial videos and multimedia. I’m always on the search for new projects to further hone my skills as both a professional in my field and as an artist
