WRITER/DIRECTOR, “NATURAL SELECTION” SHORT FILM
• Wrote and directed a comedy short that has been selected so far for 3 film festivals and the Newport Beach
Film Festival CSUF Showcase
• Directed and collaborated with six lead actors, four supporting actors, and six extras to achieve desired
performance by having in-depth discussions on character motivations, backgrounds, and script subtext
• Oversaw the short’s entire creation by communicating with each department from pre- to post-production,
delegating work and offering creative input to achieve film’s desired comedic yet heartfelt tone
• Executed film’s vision despite last-minute production changes and challenges through department
collaboration, creative problem-solving skills, and quick-thinking

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR/CASTING DIRECTOR, “OFF THE MENU” SHORT FILM
• Organized logistical details of production by managing daily on-set activities to assure a safe and on-time
shoot while following union break regulations
• Created shooting schedule and communicated as a liaison between the director and 15 crew members to
adhere to said schedule on set while also balancing the incorporation of new shot and set-up ideas
• Led casting call for all five of the film’s characters, developing a better understanding of the casting process
and more experience with finding the right talent for roles
• Won Best Student Film at the Los Angeles Film & Script Festival in April 2024 and will also be featured in the
Newport Beach Film Festival CSUF Showcase in October

SOUND/BUSINESS ASSISTANT, WILDTRACKS
• Learned how sound impacts a project’s story and emotion from an Emmy-award winning sound editorial
company, resulting in a better understanding and respect for the role sound plays in filmmaking
• Created AAFs, assembled dialog, sent files via secure transmission methods, edited basic sound effects, and
organized files, culminating in day-to-day sound editorial operation knowledge
• Shadowed sound assistants, editors, and supervisors in spotting and mixing sessions to gain hands-on
knowledge of sound editorial processes in trailer, television show, and film sound design
