Attending UCSC  I have taken a number of courses focusing on narrative production, documentary production, animation, audio engineering, and film theory. Such a large university environment has provided amazing opportunities to understand the value of creative collaboration and authentic listening. Through my employment at LinkedIn and Sun Beat Films I’ve had the time to become fluent in the entire Adobe Suite (most confidently Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, and Media Encoder) and with a wide array of video and lighting equipment. As a first generation college student who’s supported myself with various jobs throughout the past four years, I understand the importance of time management and the prioritization of tasks. I feel as though I’ve learned to communicate effectively and take constructive feedback, both through academia and the professional positions I hold as a cinematographer, editor, and production assistant.
