San Francisco Director of Photography
About
I’m a freelance Director of Photography / Cinematographer of French Canadian roots from the Québec province. After working and living in New York City for 10 years, I relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2015 with my wife and two kids. I am fluent in both French and English.
My collaborations includes short and feature length narrative and documentary projects, as well as commercial, corporate and industrial videos. I have shot over a dozen short films and one feature narrative, a handful of feature documentaries, and countless short docs and promotional pieces.
I studied the Art and Technique of Photography at the influential Cégep de Matane, on the Gaspésie peninsula. I then studied Cinema and Video at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, as part of the Baccalaureate in Multidisciplinary Arts program. Following that, I lived in France and Scotland for a year, and travelled in South East Asia for 3 months.
You will find me working on a variety of projects for companies and organizations, including Google, Indeed, Gilead, Netflix, VICE, CNN, AL-Jazeera, Nike, CNBC, Starr Media, Zero Point Zero, NPR, BBC, BLINK, Discovery, Great Big Story, Spike TV, Tough Mudder, Blare Media, DePalma Productions, and many many more.
I look forward to collaborating with you and your team.

I've worked with Steve on a few shoots in the bay area and he has consistently provided us with great footage. He asks the right questions and makes sure he captures what's needed. Looking forward to working with him again in the future.
Just reviewed Steve's website and he does solid work. Hopefully we'll get an opportunity to work with him in the near future.
