McKinley “MJ” Pearce, has been a drummer for 21 years and entrepreneur from Chicago Illinois. He has performed and produced five concert events, four in the Chicago area and one Chicago Style Blues show in Reno Nevada, all show using local un-signed artist.

MJ Pearce as he is known by, founded New Artist Entertainment, in June of 1994 and in 2010 ( NAE Magazine ) an online entertainment magazine dedicated to the un-signed music artist in all genres.

In August of 2013, MJ studied recording engineering at Harper College in Palatine Illinois at Solid Sound Recording located in Hoffman Estates under chief engineer John Towner and now intern engineer at Miller Street Studios in Chicago under chief engineer Joseph “Dante” Delfino. While music has been his passion for the last 46 years, his interest now include videography and broadcasting.

MJ Pearce graduated on June 19 2015 from The Illinois Center for Broadcasting in Lombard Illinois and has video recorded and edited countless projects for music concert event’s, television and radio commercials, music videos, business conferences, while recording voiceovers, producing television and radio news segments…utilizing varies video equipment and editing software.

MJ Pearce, has work on multiple project’s including “Bamboozle” as the TV control room producer for ICB game show project, camera operator in a city wide school competition film project in the Chicago 48 hour film festival, the Weishe Foundation concert in the fight against cancer as a camera operator for red carpet interview’s, and on stage live stream to the jumbotron for artist; the 85′ Chicago Bears, Warrant, and Eddie Money. Also the camera operator for the Paws segment for rescue animal’s at the Chicago Heights Humane Society.
In March of 2015 McKinley “MJ” Pearce started “Studio NAE” a Production Studio for music recording, editing, and mixing while studying concert audio engineering, and live streaming control.  MJ Pearce works as a recording engineer for multiple local Hip Hop artist.
