I happen to be out driving around north of Scranton, Pa and found this golf course that had completely "light bombed" the golf course and turned it into this really wonderful drive through experience.I pulled up to the entrance and asked about it, and then drove off. About ten minutes later I turned around and went back and asked how much to drive through. I think he said twenty five dollars, I replied I only have twenty two, he put… View the Video
A truly mystical and magical presentation by Rob Thomas. This is another one of those I happened to show up and had my camera moments, and got the moment recorded. Rob Thomas music can be found on Inlakesh Records. We talked for a few moments. He mentioned how he and some other players go out into the New Mexico canyons and play music. Just the thought of it brings a desire in me to tell an interesting film narrative with the music… View the Video
An observatory near here had a model rocket launch I happen to find out about. I used to build and launch model rockets when I was very young, thanks to my fifth grade teacher. Decades later I find this opportunity about an hour away, and decided it'd be fun to indulge myself and so I bought a rocket, got registered for the launch and made a quick video. I hope you enjoy it.
I am located about 40 miles from Watkins Glen International Speedway. This area is known for the races at Watkins Glen International, and also for glass because the local corporation, Corning Incorporated, who has been in the area for 187 years, started with making glass. This video clip is simply showing a stock After FX template remade with elements I acquired at the Racing Research Facility in Watkins Glen.
A two stage production reel featuring editing, audio, personally acquired photos and video, and After Effects. The first steam whistle is from a local corporation, the steam whistle has been a part of the local working class time-to-get-up and go to work scene for decades, possibly more than 100 years.Shot on location in and around Corning, NY, with photos and video acquired over several years.
A cover by Dakota of the classic song by Deep Purple. What is interesting to me is the way the bass fills out the bottom as it begins to play, and then as the camera moves across the crowd the audio phasing that takes place. One of those, you had to be there, moments.
I decided I wanted to do something like Stanley Kubrick about the time my mom died in 2017. 2001: A Space Odyssey was on my mind at the time and Strauss's music came into the public domain shortly after I get it in my head to finally do a feature film. This was shot entirely with a Motorola G cellphone. It has a quirky focus issue during this video. The clouds really are fun to watch as this plays out. This is 90 minutes… View the Video

A local rock band from the 1970s returned for a high school reunion and since I know a few of the guys in the band I asked to produce a concert video. They said yes and allowed me into a warm-up practice session, and then I hired another camera person. I had two people moving around the concert and a locked down Sony HiDef tape camera with 4 channel audio recording for the main audio. After I got the concert edited I… View the Video
The story of a retired physicist, his love for his wife, and his MG sportscar. Recorded over a couple of days and featuring footage of the original Watkins Glen Speedway, the old track, Montour Falls, NY and his recollections of how he met his wife, and reconditioned his MG.
This is currently being formatted for commercial release once all the rights are in place so it is not currently viewable.I walked into a local gas station and they were giving away tickets to this event about an hour from here so I called garden Motorsports and asked if I could be let in if I shared my footage and stills with them. Dave Martin said yes. A pass was waiting for me when I showed up.After acquiring the footage… View the Video
