ProducerProduction Coordinator
"As a seasoned video producer, my strengths lie in collaborating with teams, production management, and working with C-level executives. Since the pandemic, my time spent working with people shifted to remote work which focused more on project management and continuing to meet deadlines. My role not only requires great collaboration and project management skills but keen interpersonal skills which are necessary when working with stakeholders and creatives. My background ranges from live in-studio and field production, post production supervising, script writing, and editing digital media. It’s a multi-faceted role that is ever-changing as technology advances and the needs of clients become greater and more expansive. I’m located in the heart of Silicon Valley which puts me in a prime location to travel anywhere locally, nationally or internationally. Some of my recent accomplishments include: • Launching worldwide products for Apple including the Apple Watch Series 9 (2023), iPhone 14 (2022), Apple Fitness Plus, and MacBook (2022). • Managing a team of 12 editors, post-producing, and project managing over 100 recorded sessions for the Google I/O Developer event. Production wrapped in 7 weeks. • Producing and directing virtual keynotes and roll-ins for Adobe’s annual, global marketing event. During the pandemic, Adobe was…"

"The Bay Area 48 Hour Film Project is produced by Kirk Nordenstrom, Kris Flink, and Tiffani Lopez. Kris and Kirk took over the San Francisco event in 2022 when it needed a new producer to revitalize it after the pandemic took a large toll on participation in the event.

Kirk has run the Seattle 48 Hour Film Project since its inception in 2005. Kris joined the team in 2018 and has helped grow the event back to its pre-pandemic scope. Tiffani joined the Bay Area team in 2022 after participating in the San Jose event in the past.

Kris and Kirk also run the Montana 48 Hour Film Project, and Kirk is a co-producer of the Portland 48 Hour Film Project. Though Kirk and Kris live in Seattle, Kirk’s roots in the Bay Area run deep. He grew up in Los Gatos. Went to high school in San Jose. Attended UC Santa Cruz and later the Academy of Art College in San Francisco."

"As an independent Producer, Director, Editor, and Technical Director based in the San Francisco area since 1981, I have had the privilege of working on many interesting projects with some exceptionally talented people, as well as the great pleasure of winning a National Emmy Award. Along the way I have also had many opportunities to teach editors and technical directors all over the world, to work with software and hardware designers and engineers to develop new, or improve existing, products and tools for the film/video production industry, and to produce, direct and/or edit compelling and effective videos. Developing/conducting technical demonstrations/seminars in more than 22 countries on 5 continents, and teaching production to seventh, eighth, and ninth graders, as well as graduate students, although not at the same time, has been, and is, a genuine pleasure. Through it all, I have never lost my passion to take a good story and, using pictures and sound, tell it well. That is what I attempt in my work, no matter the genre, medium, or final audience. And I think, and certainly hope, most of the time, I succeed."

"From a young age, I have loved the film industry. I started professional acting in 2014, starring in an Emmy-nominated commercial and Oscar-qualified short film. From all my experience in front of the camera, I decided to learn about life behind the camera and instantly became inspired. Instead of me getting a car for my 16th birthday, my parents bought me my first professional camera. That kickstarted my rental house based in LA which has exponentially grown into me owning a variety of equipment and producing content for businesses, influencers, narratives, and more. I plan to continue my journey in the film industry while attending SJSU for business. This means I will be moving between San Jose and Los Angeles for gigs and family."
