If you’ve got a practical interest in film and video production, award-winning social enterprise Mediorite are here to support you into a creative career. SHIFT graduates have gone on to work with BBC and Netflix, so SHIFT video production training really does make a difference!

We frequently invite our SHIFT training alumni to opportunities like our annual short film festival, or to freelance in a paid capacity for our charity and corporate video production projects.

GET SEEN – ANNUAL LONDON SHORT FILM FESTIVAL

Every year we run the GET SEEN Short Film Festival in London. It’s a film showcase of young people’s short films made by emerging filmmakers aged 18-30, enabling emerging storytellers, producers and camera operators to stretch their wings and get recognised. It’s also a great opportunity to meet, network and listen to industry guest speakers as they talk about their journey within film. Everyone has to start somewhere. Mediorite has lots of team members who have joined us through media apprenticeships and progressed to become camera operators, video editors and even Heads of Studio in the industry (and we’re glad our lovely media apprentices decided to stick around with us after their apprenticeship ended, too – we must be doing something right!)

We’ve put all our experience and knowledge into creating media career guides for young people of all backgrounds to help you find your feet and get recognized for your talent and potential from education onwards.
