San Jose Cinematographer

I’m an award winning DP, Steadicam/Gimbal Op, Cam Op, and 1st AC living in San Jose, CA. I’m an associate member of the Society of Camera Operators. I’m both self taught and art school educated with a BFA in Cinematography from the Academy of Art University 2009.

I have experience with all forms of films- narrative, feature films, tv pilots, short films, documentary, music video, commercial, branded content, and sports / action.

As a young child I discovered my father’s 35mm still camera and Hi video camera in the early 90’s. Obsessed with the movie theater, I developed an obsession with capturing reality. I love collaboration! At age 13 I founded the world’s first martial arts tricking team, “Loopkicks.” I’m also a drummer for the band “Lafayette” and make beats as “HMPMLK”.
