A short film about a girl who adopts a Shiba Inu in an effort to catch a guy's attention. Things don't quite go as she planned however. Filmed in Seattle, WA. I was the DP for this project, as well as one of the editors.
The Tacoma History Museum hosted a Smithsonian traveling exhibit and we were asked to film a document it - not only for the Smithsonian board to view but also for archival. The Museum allowed us access to capture exhibit features with a drone, jib and slider tools - which all added to the sense of how the tour moved from beginning to end.
We were asked by the Smithsonian institute to film, sponsor and create a promotional video for their Burke Museum Exhibit. Using creative camera tools to capture creative, unique shots, gave the video an energy that needed to be convened because of the energy of the exhibit.
I'm hired to shoot interviews all the time. This is an extremely small sample of various lighting styles with timecode which makes for an easy way to get the conversation started for preferred look and tone of lighting for new projects.

Story that I shot in Canada with Sanjay Gupta for CBS 60 Minutes (the first 4 minutes of the story). I was the principal DP on this 4 day shoot and directed a crew of 4. I've shot hundreds of stories for CBS News for a couple decades.
