Sonia Panshi is an actress and filmmaker. She was born on the 8th of March in Quebec, Canada.
Sonia hails from New York City and has homes in Los Angeles and countries like Malaysia and Mumbai. She is multilingual in Hindi, French, Malay, and Turkish. Sonia Panshi completed her filmmaking degree from New York Film Academy and, acting from the Lee Strasberg Institute. She represented Malaysia in the international beauty pageant Miss Asia USA in 2008. She made her cinematic debut in 2010 in a South Indian Tamil film named Goa. And a Bollywood Indian Film called Hai Apna Dil tho Awara in 2016, followed by Peak XV an international project in 2018.
Currently, she is engaged in Acting for TV and Films. A Filmmaker, who has a passion for telling stories from different perspectives. A graduate of L. A Film School in Screenwriting. Sonia continues to do stage plays too and loves to sketch abstract art and dance in her free time. She loves to travel exploring beautiful places and relishing exquisite foods from around the world. At present Sonia has set up her Production house in Los Angeles and is working on her Feature Film and on other projects that are close to her heart.
