Caroline Mariko Stucky is an award-winning Swiss-Japanese cinematographer with a fierce passion for American culture. Her work includes fiction, documentary, commercial, and music videos. With an unusually technical background, Stucky is active as both a cinematographer and director.
Stucky shot seven music videos for Dave Keuning, guitarist of ‘The Killers’, for his debut solo album Prismism, four music videos for the hip-hop artist ‘Chris Gabo’, and directed and shot three music videos for the band ‘2 Story Cabin’.
She directed the pilot episode of Paramour No More, a half-hour TV show created by Rena Carter that was selected at the SeriesFest Season 5 and won the Creator Content Award from Women in Film & Television U.S.
As a director of photography for narrative fiction, Caroline has shot four award winning feature length films and countless short films. Her latest and most ambitious feature, Regarding Us, a transgender drama, was acquired by Gravitas Ventures for US distribution.
Stucky has shot content for clients including New York Times, Condé Nast, Time’s Up, the Guggenheim Museum, The Brooklyn Museum, Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, Juilliard, NFL, TED Conferences, Disney on Broadway, Bluemercury, Deloitte, Ferrero, Dr. Phil, Cartier and the Basketball Hall of Fame.
