Justin Herrera’s cinematography is indicative of his upbringing and passions in life. Born and raised in the melting pot of Miami, Florida, Justin had exposure to wildly different cultures, languages, and lifestyles. That exposure led to a deep fascination and obsession with art and film. Justin followed this obsession and earned his Master’s in Cinematography in Berlin and has acquired professional experience in the U.S.A. and Europe.

Justin has developed a love for the technical and imaginative, resulting in many exciting projects. Those projects involve working with analog film, high-end digital cinema cameras, and blue-screen/3D modeling.

Some of his work has been recognized and awarded at the Short Film Corner in the Cannes Film Festival, the New York Cinematography Awards, and Indie Short Fest LA.

Justin also aims to foster a safe, down-to-earth, and inclusive atmosphere on set. It is important to him that the projects he signs on have a cast and crew that is diverse and open-minded.
