Ryan Thomas is a Mexican-American director of photography who has been in the industry for over 10 years. About half of that time was spent as a union electrician and gaffer before pushing his way into working as a DP. He’s had an opportunity to learn from some of the best, working under great DP’s such as Caleb Deschanel ASC, Gabriel Beristain ASC, and Paul Cameron ASC. As a result, he has a strong background in lighting and knows exactly what it takes to make amazing stylized images.

Member of IATSE Local 600. Some of his clients include Rolling Stone, Mattel, Facebook, MTV, Comedy Central, Buzzfeed, The LA Lakers, and has had multiple films play at Sundance. Most recently he’s been accepted to the ASC vision mentorship program.
