Hello, my name is Shay Lopez. I am a husband and a father to a beautiful little girl. I take a lot of pride in my work and the positive energy in which I bring to everything I do. My career as an Editor started back when I was a young PA working at a wonderful production company in LA named EditGods. I would poke my head into Edit bays with amazement of what I would see being created in front of my eyes by some extremely talented artist. I can say this is what molded me and shaped my creative eye and It was then i knew what I wanted to become.

I spent the next early years of my career creating some amazing projects with some amazing people. These projects started in the linear based world or projects like the Video Game and BET Honors awards where I Edited packages for all of the awards on the shows. Then spanned to places like HBO,BET,HISTORY Chanel and FOX/FS1. Im lucky to say I have been able to work with amazing people along the way which made the journey all the worth it.

Fox/FS1 is where I can say I honed my talents over 10 years and created some amazing projects such as promos for the Super Bowl, World Series, UFC, not to forget the Men’s and Women’s World Cups and everything else sports related that aired at FOX. I also worked on Sizzle reels for the marketing team which spanned across all genres of FOX Broadcasting and digital media. I am extremely comfortable and enjoy working with all different types of personalties and being able to bring the same positive energy to all projects and people I work alongside. I am currently looking for my next landing spot on my journey.
