Samir Golshan is a Los Angeles based Iranian-American cinematographer. He is a graduate of Cal State Long Beach with a BA in Cinematography. Samir as an individual who has his own story is interested in collaborating with other people to tell their stories. His background in working in the lighting department on set had helped him on his journey to becoming a cinematographer. Samir also enjoys film photography as a hobby and a way to practice visual storytelling.
Selection of aerial footage I have captured for work over the past year or so. Footage was captured all over the globe including Iceland, Middle East, Canada, the Antarctic and more. We offer drone services internationally and specialize in working on set as well as in remote environments.

In recent years, we have concentrated on producing commercials, working with major Pharmacies in the Tri-State area. Our work includes creating social media videos and TV commercials. One of our major clients includes an upcoming pharmacy chain called Super Health Pharmacy, located in Staten Island, New York.
Here are some highlights of my video work in 2021. I worked in-house for Yukon Gear & Axle, a big brand in the off-road automotive industry. Most clips here are from 2021 shoots/videos with Yukon, which had no shortage of high energy events, product videos, etc.
Motion Graphics, keyframe animation reel. Some of my recent work for explainer videos, made-for-TV keyframe animation, as well as puppet rigs built for commercial work. A combination of Procreate, Adobe Animate, and Final Cut. Hoping to demonstrate a great deal of skill, I'd like to create more content full-time.

This is my 2021 cinematography reel, highlighting my favorite music videos, commercials, and narrative films that I've shot over the years. Most of the footage is from my RED and Panasonic cameras. Lenses have varied from Cooke S4's to Zeiss Super Speeds and vintage Zeiss Jenas.
