A short film about a girl who adopts a Shiba Inu in an effort to catch a guy's attention. Things don't quite go as she planned however. Filmed in Seattle, WA. I was the DP for this project, as well as one of the editors.
A demo reel of my cinematography over the past couple of years with some of my favorite shots, all compressed into 1 small video. There are music videos, short films, small promo videos all compiled into here. Always nice to look back at these and see how much has been accomplished.
Here's a demo highlighting some of my story telling editing for film trailers/promos and sound design work. These are three short films I edited and then later cut some trailers for. I love cutting trailers and the creativity it allows. Looking for exciting and challenging projects as a freelancer/contractor.

This is a documentary I produced, shot and edited. It is the story about Jim Valley, former member of Paul Revere & the Raiders. Jim's post rock and roll life has led him around the world performing original music to school children, as well as continued success performing in his home state of Washington. Through the process of making this short film, I became close friends with Jim, and continue to collaborate with him to this day.
These are segment clips of short narrative films shot while working in Seattle, WA. I enjoy shooting corporate and live performance work, but my passion is narrative and documentary films. Whatever the genre, shooting film is all about creative story telling. When hiring a cinematographer, always inquire about their passion for story.
Musical set in the 50's that I co-directed with my twin brother Kalle! Proof of concept for a feature we want to make. A Black boy is interested in a white girl, and the white girl likes him too. But it's the 1950's so.... what could possibly go wrong?!
A cutout collage style "visual children's book" about a fish who tries to figure out why his friends won't hang out with him anymore. Very fun project to make, one of my good friends Ian Riedel did the music, and my mom made all the artwork!
All the ups and downs of a relationship told by way of a girlfriend leaving her boyfriend's place, and the boyfriend watching her go, and using the same shot over and over again. To be in love, then to be not.

Here is my Narrative Reel including short films, feature films, music videos, teasers and more narrative work. Almost everything in this reel was directed and shot by me. I love directing and doing the photography when possibile, it really gives me artistic control of the product.
Here is the trailer from my thesis film. Full film available upon request. Based on true experiences. I was the writer-director. I also helped produce and edited the entire thing, excluding the score. This is a good indicator of where my skillset is today.
