"Tim Beck is a bicoastal composer (NYC/LA) and a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has written several styles of music, including chamber, jazz, orchestral, electronic, pop/rock, and film scores. He has scored for several works including short films, commercials, documentaries, and four feature films. In 2012, Tim was selected as a winner for the Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra Collegiate Composers for his piece, “Sustantivo,” a duet for piano and oboe.
