"I’ve been working audio-video productions for decades. My first was an 8MM short film for church. I was scratching records in the 1970s, mixing and cross mixing Led Zep with Rolling Stones, and pushing the turntables in both directions. We started a student run radio station during those years and became aware of an esoteric art form called video feedback, basically pointing a recording camera into it’s playback monitor, creating a moiré effect. After that school I spent a few years at the local radio station, and used an analog (what is that!) tape deck chopping block to create analog effects we now do with ease digitally.
