Tehben Dean is a cinematographer and director based out of Los Angeles. Tehben has worked on a number of eminent documentary films and TV shows including Showtime’s “Bonded By Ball” (2023) and NBA documentary “Game Change Game,” which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2022.

In between launching his career in his home state of Alaska and settling in Los Angeles, Tehben spent six years in Portland, Oregon, where he shot dozens of music videos, commercials, and short films. Some of his notable Portland work includes KGW’s Emmy-winning “Expressions in Black,” and his short film “The Last Incantation,” which won Best Adaptation at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival in 2019. In his 2023 directorial debut “All I’ve Got & Then Some,” Tehben stepped into an expanded realm of motion pictures with his narrative storytelling as a writer, producer, and editor of the film which premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2024.
