"Joseph Wise is a British cinematographer based in Los Angeles, CA. Raised in London, Joseph lived the first few years of his life making films with his brothers and school friends with just a desktop computer. Joseph moved to the United States when he was 10 years old where he became a child actor performing in several motion pictures. It was during his time on set as an actor that he became fascinated with the camera and what was going on behind it. Joseph eventually pivoted away from acting and into directing where he won a few awards for his work including Most Promising Filmmaker at the Kapow IFF for his second short Autumn. However, it was during his time at the USC School of Cinematic Arts that Joseph had the opportunity to DP a few projects that quickly turned into many projects establishing himself as a full-time Director of Photography, encompassing his knowledge of acting and directing into an emotionally and character driven art.
