Sanchez Media partnered with Singer SF and Chevron to produce this short doc on the Permian Basin and the Midland Airshow, which is produced by the Commemorative Air Force. This project was shot on a Canon C300 MKII and Canon C70. We used Canon cinema glass, as well as their L-series still lenses.

This particular project is an introduction to the restoration of the MV Aurora. An historic 300 foot Cruise Ship that was the first large vessel Germany was allowed to build after WW2. It ended up in Little Potato Slough in the San Joaquin Delta near Stockton, Ca. This mini-doc was a passion project of mine. I filmed this solo, in just one wild weekend hanging out with this insane flying club. We started in the small West Texas town of Slaton, flew bush planes into a remote ranch to capture some low-level shenanigans, and then took a private jet to an air show in Arizona to hang out with Jeff Boerboon who flies the famous Yak 110.
