At one time, California Raisins made a considerable investment in consumer marketing with their famous "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" claymation campaign but those days are long over. Now the industry is focusing on trade marketing, especially in overseas markets such as China and Japan. This is one of nine videos, produced in conjunction with Blare Media, to promote California Raisins to the world.
Mad Rock is a climber owned and operated company that makes innovative and highly technical rock climbing shoes. This short project shows a climber in their element, using Mad Rock products to do their boulder. I was the Cinematographer/Editor on this project.
This short video was completed with a skeletal crew and limited budget. We were able to set the product hero in an undeveloped warehouse that was to become the client's paint booth. This high-end client creates elegant custom windows and doors for their exclusive, A-list customers. It had to be done right.
